Experience: Intellectual Property Matters: Trial counsel for Kuryakyn Holdings, Inc., a company that distributes and sells aftermarket products for motorcycles, in a breach of contract case against a former designer of motorcycle lighting products, Just In Time Distribution Company. Just In Time initiated a suit in California alleging RICO violations, fraud, and breach of the parties' licensing agreement and claiming damages in excess of $3 million. Kuryakyn initiated a separate suit in Wisconsin alleging breach of the parties' licensing agreement and seeking damages in excess of approximately $2 million. The cases were consolidated in federal court in the Western District of Wisconsin, and the case proceeded to a jury trial to decide the liability claims.
