About: Mr. Culas is a solo practitioner who practices law in the State of Utah for almost 20 years. He is very passionate about his clients’ legal needs and an advocate to their constitutional rights. He practices in the in the areas of Chapters 7 and 13 bankruptcy petition, Immigration, criminal/DUI and family law. Mr. Culas appears in almost all courts in the State of Utah, from Salt Lake County to Utah County. He is a member of the Utah Bar Association, American Bar Association, Minority Bar Association, and other local law group.
Mr. Culas served as a board member for the Utah Bar Lawyers Helping Lawyers for 6 years. He also served as a board member for Utah ACLU. He volunteers with many different organizations, including March of Dimes, Puso at Diwang Pilipino, Ronald McDonald House and others.
As a native born Filipino, he understands people from different walks of life. Besides English, he speaks Tagalog and little Spanish. His clienteles are diverse, and they came from different ethnic background. He represents clients from the Isles of the Sea to European Nationals, as well as Peoples from South to North Americas.
As a child, his parents taught him with strong disciplinary principle. His parents imbedded in him the values of education and ethics. His parents once said, “Through education, you can do wonderful things, and whatever you do in life, you have to do the right thing.” This statement echoes throughout his practice, indeed he is passionate about his client’s legal needs, and represent them within the bounds of ethics and the law.
